Obituary of Todd Kenneth Kelso

Please share a memory of Todd to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Todd Kelso of Rochester, New York, went home to the Lord on March 25. The fourth son born to Mitzi and Harry Kelso, he spent his youth in the Margate-Ventnor area attending Margate and Ventnor school systems. Todd attended Atlantic City High School and Vo-Tech before enlisting in the Army. In his youth, Todd could always be found at the Ventnor Roller Rink where he honed his skating skills especially his fancy turns. Todd was as affable a person that you could ever want to meet. Comments describing him always included "I liked him the moment I met him". In the last decade he split his time between Rochester New York, where he met and fell in love with Jodie Pompa and Linwood, NJ with his family. He joined Friendship Bible Church and attended Thursday night bible study where he met many wonderful people and formed friendships that helped shape his adult life. Todd loved life and spending time with his family. He was a great cook and was relied upon at holidays and barbecues throughout his life. He was especially looking forward to spending time fishing this summer as first mate on "Get the Net" with his best friend, brother David. A collector of action heroes his entire life, he managed to be a hero himself when he signed up for the organ donor program. In his passing he improved many lives with his gifts. Todd was doted on by his siblings , especially his sister and was affectionately known as "The Baby". His passing has left a hole in all our hearts that will never be filled. Sadly missed and left to cherish his memory sister Donna Talley Antolini, brothers Charles (Linda), David and Mark Kelso as well as his nieces, April & Shelley Kelso, and nephew, C. J. Kelso, his sweetheart Jodie Pompa and special friends. The family would like to especially thank the doctors and nurses in the ER and ICU departments of Shore Medical Center for their professional care and efforts. Services and burial were private at the request of the family.
