Cass was one of the nicest people I knew through Shore Memorial, I worked for her, with her, and eventually she for me. She was always reachable, approachable and kind-hearted. When I found out my dog was hit by a car at 3 am, I knew there was only one place to go - to work to cry on Cass’s shoulder. We were distant neighbors on 3rd St. To all of the Gerety family my sincerest condolences, the world has lost a real treasure.

I served as an Emergency Department physician at Shore Memorial hospital for many years. Often, we would have difficulty starting an intravenous line in children. We knew we could always rely on "Cass" to help us on the night shift. She would appear with a smile on her face, and expertly succeed where we had not. We extend our sincere sympathy to Mrs. Gerety's family.
A donation will be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her memory, and she will be forever in our prayers.

Dear Maureen, Kathy, Nancy & George & all the Family...Your Mom was one of the most gracious, patient, and kindest human beings I've ever known. Ronnie, Kathy, Nancy and George. Your Mom was the Best. I will always cherish the Memories growing up we were all close. Miss those days. As I grew older when I was living in SP I asked if I could do my Laundry. She would do it all. Please come see me in Asheville. I built a beautiful House with Plenty of room.
