Bud Doyle, of Somers Point, NJ, originally from South Philadelphia, passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Dominica "Mini" Albo. First born son of James and Elsie (nee Hassel). Survived by his loving sisters: Kay, Pat, Marge, Ginger, Candy and brothers: Terry, Mike, Bob, Jack, and Dan. Loving grandfather to Mark and other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Bud is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Journalism. Bud was employed at Abbott's Dairy and SmithKline where he retired from in 2000. An avid reader, Bud also wrote many songs, poems and movie scripts (movie trivia wiz). In his younger days, Bud was a lead singer for a dew wop group and he also coached a basketball team for St. Edmond's School in South Philly for several years. A very intelligent and thoughtful man, Bud was very partial to the novels of Ayn Rand, creator of the Objectivist Philosophy. Bud will be greatly missed by his large family and friends. The memorial for Joseph James Doyle has been cancelled for January 15, 2022 due to unforeseen circumstances. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend the new memorial held on Saturday, April 9th from the hours of 2pm - 4pm located at Cape May Pointe at the tip of the Cape May Peninsula by the Doyle Memorial Benches, the concrete ship located near the Cape May Lighthouse.To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Joseph Doyle, please visit our Tree Store
