Lorry passed away peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family on June 11, 2021. Lorry was a graduate of the Class of 1969 from Wheaton High School in Maryland where she was born and spent her younger years until moving to Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1976. This is where she met the love of her life William, they were married in 1978, and remained married until her last day. Lorry took great pride in obtaining her Nursing degree in 1991 by going back to school at the age of 40. Working at Atlantic City Medical Center and various nursing homes in Atlantic County is where she found her calling with elderly patients. Lorry had a creative side and enjoyed her garden, DIY projects, arts & crafts, and wrote multiple poems which she kept dear to her heart. Family was very important to Lorry and nothing meant more to her than spending time with her new great-grand daughter, Lillyana Rose. Yearly family trips to Maine over decades provided many unforgettable memories that all of her family will cherish for years to come. Lorry was predeceased by her father and mother Thomas and Lucelle Vineer and sister Gladys Noyes. She is survived by her loving husband William, son Shaun (Laura), daughter Ali, grandsons Willie and Robbie, great-grand daughter Lillyana Rose, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorry spent many years collecting angels, she will now have that opportunity to be one for her family. The family has chosen to have a services held privately.
