Obituary of Rose Marie Sharp
Rose Marie Sharp, age 85, formerly of Wenonah, peacefully passed to Heaven on May 6th, 2021 with her loving family by her side at home in Beesley's Point, New Jersey. Rose was born on February 7, 1936 in Camden and worked as a secretary in a doctor's office in South Philadelphia prior to the birth of her children. While raising her children she spent many hours volunteering, participating in bowling and softball leagues and being a full-time loving mother and homemaker. Later in life, Rose worked at the Margate Jewish Community Center where she enjoyed working in Daycare with all the children who always put a smile on her face. She will be remembered by those who knew her and loved her best as a kind, compassionate, and an endlessly giving person who always told it like it was. Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother. For the past 23 years she lived with her grandchildren and loved taking care of them. Better known to them as "Mom Mom or Mom", she will be greatly missed in their life, but has left them with many wonderful memories they will cherish forever. Rose is survived by her daughters Paige Sharp-Rumaker (Bob) and Kimberly Sharp (Frank); four grandchildren, Kyle, Amber, Carlee and Nikki; brother Noah Bender (Ceal). She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Cecelia Damore-Baranowski and Constance March. A beach memorial will be held in Strathmere, NJ at E Whittier Road, June 12th at 10:45 a.m. Following the memorial there will be a Celebration of Life in Margate where friends and family may join together in her memory.
