Suzette Macpherson, 102, passed into the presence of the Lord Jesus with family at her side on Saturday, February 19, 2022 after a brief illness. Sue graduated Wilkinsburg High School in 1936 and went to work at the Falk Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical School. After WW II she married Peter Macpherson of Donora, PA in 1949. They owned a photography studio in Wilkinsburg from 1949 through 1978. During that time, they had five children- David (Evelyn), Sandra & Suzanne, Robert (Cindy), and James. Sue carried on in photography, doing local sports and interest photos for the Ocean City Sentinel-Ledger newspaper. She also took school photos in NJ, PA, VA, and FL for home schoolers. The driving force in her life was her relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Her main interest was fellowshipping at local Plymouth Brethren type assembly churches, first in the Pittsburgh area, later in Longport and Marmora, NJ. She was dedicated to spreading the gospel through tract distribution and by giving t-shirts to various children's evangelistic groups. The t-shirts were printed on the front with "Jesus loves me this I know, for The Bible tells me so" and on the back with The Bible verse John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". Sue enjoyed spending time with her 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
