Edward A. Walker "Big Ed", age 73, of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loved ones on April 14, 2017. He was born on October 27, 1943 to the late Ann and Albert Walker, and was the oldest of 5 children. He lived in Buffalo, NY until he moved to NJ in 1966 after 4 years of military service in the Air Force stationed at Palermo Air Force Base. He began to work for IBM in 1968, where he was employed for 42 years as a field engineer. In 1967, he married his beloved wife Maryann (nee Montagna) and proceeded to have three children. He was a kind and gentle soul who would always lend a hand to others. His laid back, easy-going nature made him loved by all who met him.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maryann; his sons Edward (Deborah) and Nicholas (Janine), and grandson, his “Little Boy” Cooper; stepson James (Jill) and their children Hunter and Neal; sisters Barbara (David) and Kathy (Sam); and brother James (Nancy). He was predeceased by his beautiful daughter Kimberly Ann and sister Carol.
