Constance Jo Hiles (nee Capobianco), age 75, of Somers Point, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2017. Born on July 13th, 1942, Connie was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. She attended St. Joseph's Academy High School in Wheeling and then graduated from West Liberty College as a Dental Hygienist in 1962. Connie worked for Ohio State University and several Ohio Valley dentists during her career as a dental hygienist. While living in Columbus, OH she volunteered for the USO at Lockborne Air Force Base where she met her husband, Lee. Connie and Lee were married in 1969 and built their family in Somers Point, NJ. She was a member of the Artisan's civic organization since 1973 and a dedicated member of the Somers Point School Board for 28 years. A woman who could do it all, but most of all, Connie was a loving and caring wife, mother, and mom-mom. Her gift of laughter will leave an indelible impression on us all as we carry her in our heart. She will be sadly missed but greatly honored by her husband, Lee, of 48 years; and her three children, Douglas (Terri Anne), Lynda Early (Greg) and Joseph; and her two beloved grandchildren, Dougie Hiles and Gregory Early; and her three brothers, John Capobianco (Janice), Joseph Capobianco and Albert Capobianco; and her friend and sister in law, Karen Huston (Howard).
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation 7:00pm to 9:00pm Monday October 9th at Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home, 304 Shore Road, Somers Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Somers Point on Tuesday, October 10th at 10:30am. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, her family's wishes are to please make a donation to St. Joseph's Church in Somers Point, NJ.
